The Roborover is more specifically a talking, tread-based robot that WowWee quotes to be a "roving explorer with an inquisitive personality that grows to become more confident as users navigate and play with him." The Roborover robot is controlled by a remote control; the little bot also features fully poseable limbs such as the arms, waist and head. The device is meant to start out shy when first being used and grow into a more confident individual; eventually he will be exploring and roving freely as he pleases around any family's house. The Roborover also features spoken content, and driving based games for additional entertainment, infrared sensors for avoiding obstacles and unique tilt sensors alert the robot when it has tipped over; Roborover can stand back up completely on its own. A special "Follow Me" mode will allow the robot to home in on his user and explore different areas searching for him/her similar to hide and seek; Roborover will even locate users in the dark. Light Sensor based headlights will turn on automatically in the dark so that Roborover can navigate his way.

Unfortunately at this time there is no additional information on the device besides what is noted above; more specifically there is no retail price or release date permanently set. Further updates on this particular product will come as they are announced.
