The Cons:Rechargeable batteries can only be recharged from the remote (which itself runs on 6 AA batteries). For indoor use only. Only lasts 5 minutes before needing to be recharged.

 Introduced at CES 2008, the FlyTech Bladestar is a remote controlled flying toy for indoor use only. The device is targetted primarily at children, but due to it's more advanced features and lower than average cost, it may interest gadget geeks and RC airplane hobbyists as well.

Product Shot 2 Using two two-propeller engines attached to a base with two wings, the Bladestar hovers like a helicopter, and can maneuver quite easily. Featuring a rechargeable battery and a sensors to avoid crashing into walls or objects, the Bladestar can be made to fly through the remote control, guiding it with your hands, or letting it face off in dogfighting action with another Bladestar.
