The Pros:Raised grids keep tiles in place and line them up straight. Can rotate the board for each player to give them a better view. Family-friendly game that can be played with kids and adults.
The Cons:Grids are more shallow than previous editions of the Deluxe Edition, tiles don't anchor securely. Turntable is flimsy, allows the board to rock. Generally a slow game, not for those with short attention spans.
It's the same game from the last 50 years, just a little face-lift brings this classic to the 21st century. A rotating turntable allows each player to read the words - no more reading upside down! A timer is included to force those slower players among us to play their tiles already!
