Monopoly Board Game
$10.00
Released January, 1935
The Pros:A classic board game. Teaches kids the value of money. Always a great game for rainy days for nearly any age.
The Cons:Go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200. The game can last a long time - up to several hours. Nothing to do when it isn't your turn; time between turns can get long.
Since 1935, this game has been played by more than 500 million people worldwide. Buy property, charge rent, go to jail, it's all in a day's work. Just remember to keep an eye on the banker, they might be slipping some bills under the table.

This might not be favorable to the Monopoly purists, but a 2007 version is now available that forgoes paper money completely in exchange for plastic - the Monopoly Electronic Banking Edition.
