Dixit

Dixit is a family/party game board game designed for 3 to 6 players of ages 8 and up. It features 84 cards and 14 rounds, and is designed to last no more than 30 minutes. Each round pits a storyteller against all other players.

The storyteller chooses a card from six and uses it to devise a sentence. Other players then review all 6 cards and individually choose one that fits best. The cards then go back to the storyteller, and she must shuffle them, after which players bet on which card was the storyteller’s. If either everyone or nobody at all chooses the correct card, all players score 2 EXCEPT the storyteller. If on the other hand someone chooses correct, that player and the storyteller receive 3 points. Whomever originally chose the right card is given 1 point per each vote his/her card receives.
