For the first time ever, France joins the Allies as a new playable power in Axis and Allies. This opens up a wide range of new combat pieces for the players to access. This version of the game also features two new combat units; tactical bombers and mechanized infantry. New units means new ways to devise strategies, keeping the players on edge and thinking. This version of the game is able to combine it's board with the board from Axis and Allies Pacific 1940, creating a deluxe sized board. The board will be able to fit over a thousand sculpted units, and lets players recreate the entire 1940 scenario. When compared to another Axis and Allies board game, Axis and Allies 1942, Axis and Allies Europe 1940 contains some advantages, including more playable powers, and the ability to connect to another board.
